Ok, now for the benefits for the students, staff, and other things besides financial.
Some new benefits would be that extra time would allow students to finish homework, study for their classes, and catch up on sleep as I said in my essay. More sleep would help keep the student awake (hopefully) in the classes. (unless the class is that boring..) When students could catch up on their work, it would improve their grades. Also, the extra time would allow them to ask questions in their weak subjects which would also have the same positive effect.
this is what we are trying to avoid.
Another benefit would be the vacation time spread around the year, for the benefit of the students, their parents, and the faculty. They can enjoy vacations in many seasons instead of just the season of summer. Also, the spread out vacation times can actually be used on vacation instead of just going on a vacation for the average week to a month. The vacationers can go on their beloved 2 week vacation and then go back to school after their break, then in a couple of months repeat the process. This will be more likely to go on vacation again because in the school months, the teacher or parent of the students worked thus recieved more money which allows for a better vacation. :)
Two weeks of this? oh yes!
